So you’re coming to horse camp!
Campers will need to bring the following items in order to have an enjoyable day of camp:
Signed Forms: Medical Release Form & Equine Activity Release Form. Campers will not be admitted to camp without these forms-one for each camper
Riding pants or long pants to the ankle. They need to be comfortable like leggings or jeans.
Long hair on any camper needs to be clean & neatly pulled back with a sufficient hair tie. This is a safety and health reason especially when borrowing helmets.
Summer Camp
Sneakers or rain boots (they will get dirty!)
Socks that cover the ankle. Their ankles will rub raw with the boots.
Hat with a visor
A snack + labeled reusable water-bottle
Bathing Suit, Towel and shoes to wear to the car like flip flops
Please apply sunscreen and bug spray at home before coming to camp.
School Vacation Camp
Mud or riding boots. Snow boots (when below freezing)
Warm socks
Winter hat, gloves or mittens.
Warm pants, layers or snow pants (when below freezing)
Many layers on top.
Winter coat.
A snack, lunch and a labeled reusable water-bottle
We find that campers that have a full night’s rest and a full breakfast enjoy camp the most! Encourage them to have a great attitude and openness to learn.
Adamsville Stables provides riding boots and helmets to borrow.
